i believe she's having spontaneous pneumothorax. air went into spaces between the lungs and caused the lung to 'collapse'. symptoms include shortness of breath, chest pain, rapid heart rate etc... doc can tell by listening to the breathing sound and also x-ray. and there is high risk of reoccurance...
