Huh? Diabetes? Racism?

"The classical triad of diabetes symptoms is: frequent urination, increased thirst and consequent increased fluid intake, and increased appetite. Symptoms may develop quite rapidly..."

Hmm...

Where's the blood test report when you need it the most?

Oh right, I don't have diabetes...I just have the frequent fatigue and easily irritable syndrome.

Now isn't this nice? Discrimination exists: Whites vs Blacks, Chinese vs Vietnamese, Everybody vs Natives...etc. Racism exists, just not as prominently. However, I can't believe a well-trained public figure can be this dumb, either lured or deliberate, to produce quotes like these while her leader is in the middle of a presidential race.

Geraldine Ferraro, the only woman to run on a major U.S. party's White House ticket, had said Obama was leading Clinton in the race for the Democratic party nomination for November's presidential election because he was black.

The former congresswoman ignited the flap when she told a California newspaper that "if Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position."

"And if he was a woman he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept," she said.
